Outreach Branch PT Positions
Youth Leadership Program Facilitator
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- At least 21 years of age
- Previous experience with elementary/middle school youth in a formal setting
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate Afternoons ROCK program to elementary and/or middle school students
- Recruit students for programs
- Follow daily curriculum schedule
- Plan and implement supportive activities
Approximate Hours
- 20-25 hrs (approximately 1-6 p.m.; Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate
- Program facilitation - $15 p/ hr
- Clerical duties(i.e. entering attendance and other data into State database) - $9 p/ hr
Youth Leadership Program Assistant
Job Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- At least 21 years of age
- Previous experience with elementary/middle school youth in a formal setting
- Previous experience planning activities for youth
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and facilitating of Afternoons ROCK program activities
- Transport students in YMCA vehicle when necessary
Approximate Hours
- 20-25 hrs (approximately 1-6 p.m.; Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate
Youth Leadership Program Facilitator
Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be computer proficient
- Previous experience working with youth in a formal environment
- At least sixty(60) hours college credit or equivalent experience
Job Responsibilities
- Plan daily program activities
- Facilitate character development/leadership programs
- Transport students to/from programs when necessary
- Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Community Outreach Branch Director
Approximate Hours
- 20-25 hrs (approximately 1 or 2 p.m.-5:30 p.m.; Monday-Friday)
