Y-CAP Part time Job

Y-CAP is presently seeking individuals to work with developing male youth into successful young men. This position is primarily responsible for planning and facilitating character development program activities for young males in elementary and middle school.  This position also requires an individual to follow and uphold the mission of the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana.

Qualifications/Job requirements:

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

· Must be computer proficient

· Previous experience working with youth in a formal environment

· At least sixty(60) hours college credit or equivalent experience

Principal activities:

· Plan daily program activities

· Facilitate character development programs

· Assist the Program Coordinator with recruiting participants to help expand programs

· Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Y-CAP Director

Hours:

Approximately 18-25 hrs p/wk(1:00-6:00p; Monday – Friday)

Pay rate:

$8.00 per hour
